Article: Join In On The Ride As Nickelodeon’s New Show “Ride” Premieres On January 30th!

Being the new kid in school means facing a lot of fears and for Kit, she has to face an extra one: riding a horse! In Nickelodeon’s all new and highly-anticipated, phenomenal show titled, “Ride,” viewers are able to join Kit and her journey as she transitions from life in America to her new life in England at an equestrian boarding school. The outstanding show, which is another one of Nickelodeon’s incredible masterpieces, is set to gallop its way on over to our TV screens on January 30th at 8:00 PM ET / PT. To add even more excitement, Nickelodeon will be airing back-to-back premiere episodes of the show with one at 8:00 PM and another episode following at 8:30 PM.

“Ride” consists of 20 half-hour episodes and will be filled with a lot of fascinating and marvelous moments that you won’t want to miss. Let’s learn more about the show! According to the press release, “The daily scripted series follows the journey of Kit Bridges (Kendra Leigh Timmins), an American teenager who must adjust to life in England at The Covington Academy, after her father accepts his dream job as the equestrian supervisor at the school.  Ride will air regularly at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. In the series premiere, titled “Arrival,” Kit embarks on an adventure filled with new friends, surprises, romance and laughs at The Covington Academy, until she realizes she must face her biggest fear — riding horses.  After bonding with the most stubborn and difficult horse at the academy, Kit must find the courage to ride.”

Ride stars Kendra Leigh Timmins as Kit Bridges; Alana Boden as Elaine Whiltshire, an ambitious student who is not pleased about Kit’s arrival; Oliver Dench as Will Palmerston, resident heartthrob and rebel; Jonny Gray as Josh Luders, a popular and funny guy; Manuel Pacific as Nav Andrada, charismatic scion to a powerful South America family; and Rameet Rauli as Anya Patel, Kit’s roommate who harbors a big secret” (source: press release).

Episodes of “Ride” will be available on, the Nick App and platforms including Amazon, iTunes, Xbox, Google Play, Vudu, Playstation and Nick On Demand starting on January 31st.
