Article: You Have To See The Character Art Of John Cena’s Villainous Character, Baron Draxum In “Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!”

We’re starting our countdowns and we can’t wait until Nickelodeon’s highly-anticipated, brand new, animated series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles making its way onto our TV screens later this year. The show has everything and more that we can ask for – an incredible storyline, an all-star cast and of course, it’s about the legendary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There is one other thing that we’re super excited about – that our fave, the one and only John Cena will be voicing the role of the villainous character, Baron Draxum in the show.

During Nickelodeon’s very exciting Upfront presentation held in New York City, the first look at the official character art was revealed for Baron Draxum. John Cena shared his excitement over voicing the role of the interesting character and said, “I’ve always been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, so getting the opportunity to voice a character, especially the villain Baron Draxum, is truly special.” (source: press release)

Using ooze, he plans to mutate all of humanity with his insect-like creatures called Oozesquitoes.  Cena’s recurring character will debut in the premiere episode of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, bowing later this year on Nickelodeon.” (source: press release)
