As what the iconic Marilyn Monroe said, “A smile is the best makeup any girl can wear” and that’s exactly what ipsy celebrated at its magnificent Gen Beauty event that took place on March 24 and March 25, 2018 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. Two days filled with fabulous, makeup tutorials, super fun activations and even the opportunity to meet some of your favorite beauty gurus and influencers – what could possibly be better than that?! Needless to say, ipsy’s Gen Beauty event was a weekend of makeup heaven and the best part about it is ipsy’s inspiring message that beauty is everywhere – both on the inside and out.
The fun started on Friday, March 23rd, when a special, invite-only event took place where up and coming influencers were able to learn all about ways that they can continue to grow their brand and have their social media platforms and reach flourish even more. Beauty gurus have definitely made such a great impact in everyone’s lives – whether it is helping us ace that smokey eye look we’ve always wanted to achieve or by encouraging their fans to believe in themselves and love who they are. Beauty isn’t just the makeup that these influencers use, it’s the way they use their platform for good to motivate others to follow after their dreams, take care of themselves and be confident. It’s so awesome to see everyone at Gen Beauty embrace the total #QUEEN that they are.
Kandee Johnson, Jenn Im, Ann Le, Sarai Jones, Nicole Guerriero, Nikki Phillippi, Christen Dominique, In Real Life, Yasmin Maya AKA Beautyybird, Shayla Mitchel, Madison Miller, Roxette Arisa, Paula Galindo, Madelynn De La Rosa, Micaela Klein, Bailey Sarian, Gregory @GregoryArlt and Jennifer Yen were all in attendance at Sunday’s Gen Beauty event.
