She has made history in a countless amount of ways, she has broken barriers and has inspired an endless amount of people to follow their dreams – she’s the legendary Ibtihaj Muhammad. If you looked up the word “admirable” in the dictionary, you would definitely see Ibtihaj Muhammad’s name as a part of the definition. She made history as the first woman to wear a hijab while competing in the Olympics for Team USA. She also became the first female Muslim-American to win a medal at the Olympics. Then again, admirable is truly an understatement for someone as great as Ibtihaj Muhammad. The extraordinary Ibtihaj Muhammad has proven that she could do it all. She has worked tirelessly to get to where she is today. Ibtihaj Muhammad is a stupendous fencer who has and continues to make the USA so proud to call her ours. Through her work, Ibtihaj Muhammad has managed to break societal and cultural norms. She has shown to the world that when you set your mind onto something, when you are determined and when you work hard enough to never let anything get in your way – you too can be a champion like Ibtihaj Muhammad.

In addition to being an inspiring athlete, Ibtihaj Muhammad also has her own clothing line called, Louella. Through her collection, Ibtihaj Muhammad brings chic and sophisticated items to the modest fashion industry. Ibtihaj Muhammad is not only a powerful fencer, but she is also the genius behind a fashion line – there is nothing that this phenomenal woman can’t do. In fact, Ibtihaj Muhammad even wrote her very own book titled, Proud and she will be embarking on a book tour in a few days to promote the empowering story. Ibtihaj Muhammad has influenced so many that Mattel’s Barbie even created a doll modeled after her as a part of their “Shero” collection. We certainly are so proud of Ibtihaj Muhammad – of the life-changing, Olympic hero she is to all.
