Jaw-dropping, action-packed, adrenaline-filled and a movie that will, without a doubt, leave you at the edge of your seat the entire time, those are just some of the many ways to describe the stupendous and captivating film, Mile 22. After seeing this brilliant film, you will be at a loss for words because of just how mesmerizing it is. It goes without saying that the all-star cast, director Peter Berg and the crew truly created a masterpiece with this eye-opening movie. Mile 22 incites a host of emotions amongst all viewers. It will make you wince. It will leave you heart-broken in many scenes. It showcases strength and courage and it also brings about a sense of nationalism.

The impactful movie follows CIA agent James Silva, played by the legendary and consummate actor, Mark Wahlberg. Silva, along with a team of elite and highly-trained agents, must take on a daunting and perilous mission — they must transfer a foreign intelligence asset who holds critical and hazardous information and move him from an American embassy in Southeast Asia to Mile 22 for extraction. However, those 22 miles pose some of the biggest threats for the team as every corner they turn, a new danger awaits.

Mile 22 stars Mark Wahlberg as James Silva, Ronda Rousey as Sam Snow, Iko Uwais as Li Noor, Lauren Cohan as Alice Kerr, John Malkovich as Bishop and many other stellar and immensely talented actors and actresses. Director Peter Berg also stars in the movie as Lucas.

No words can fully describe just how much of a remarkable job the cast did to bring this movie to life. The cast had such a powerful performance and they allow all viewers to feel like they are right in the midst of the action. When one of the characters is in fear, you are in fear ten times more. When one of the characters feels pain, you feel the pain along with them. Iko Uwais left everyone in awe and completely speechless with his out-of-this-world stunts and martial arts skills in the movie. The cast of Mile 22 did such a breathtaking job bringing viewers into the story and making everyone who sees this film feel like they are embarking on the journey along with the team.

Streets were closed down and one of the biggest movie premieres took place for Mile 22 yesterday, August 9, 2018 at the Westwood Village Theater in Westwood, California. The cast of the movie including Mark Wahlberg, Ronda Rousey, Iko Uwais, Lauren Cohan, Peter Berg and many more enjoyed attending the event and celebrating their movie up on the big screen. Iconic ski racer Lindsey Vonn and professional ice-hockey player P.K. Subban also attended the event.

I, Alexisjoyvipaccess had the greatest honor of attending the premiere of Mile 22 and it truly was a night to remember. The premiere was unforgettable and such a magical night in La La Land. This movie has already gotten so much buzz and will definitely continue to be all the rave once it makes its way on over to theaters. Fans lined up for blocks to get a glimpse of their favorite stars from the movie. This sensational movie premiere defined what a marvelous day in Los Angeles is like. A special and super fun after-party took place at Baltaire to let the fun continue.
