The Unauthorized Musical Parody Of… “Bridesmaids” is written and produced by the UMPO genius herself, Ms. Kate Pazakis! Every project that Pazakis works on always turns out to be oh, so awe-inspiring and seeing the return of the UMPO: “Bridesmaids” show back to the Rockwell Table & Stage is such a great treat. Kate Pazakis has such a remarkable sense of humor, terrific wit and creativity and she puts a marvelous and HILARIOUS twist to some of our favorite movies through her UMPO series. Add some chart-topping songs and excellent, live music, a wonderful cast and an endless amount of super funny moments and you have yet another UMPO masterpiece! The UMPO: “Bridesmaids” show is co-directed by the outstanding, veteran actress and Tony Award Winner, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Christoper Youngsman.
There truly is never a dull moment in UMPO: “Bridesmaids.” The spectacular and immensely talented cast did such a superb job bringing this show to life. There’s only one caution: prepare to have a stomach-ache from laughing so much because this show is hysterical! “Bridesmaids” is a movie that stole the hearts of fans worldwide and the UMPO: “Bridesmaids” show reiterates why this film is so special for everyone who watches it. On top of all of the comedy, the music is what makes UMPO shows stand out from other parodies. UMPO shows incorporate hit songs that will have people of all ages jamming out to. The way Pazakis is able to intertwine these songs into the dialogue is absolutely phenomenal and the cast and musicians all do an extraordinary job with their performances.
UMPO: “Bridesmaids” stars Natalie Lander, Desi Dennis-Dylan, Ashley Argota, Nohely Quiroz, Aynsley Bubbico, Molly Stilliens, Nathan Moore and Keir Kirkegaard. It goes without saying that all of the cast-members are truly gifted at what they do. It’s clear to see the incredible passion they put into every performance and they make each and every night so memorable for all attendees. Watching an UMPO show and enjoying a mouth-watering meal along with delicious drinks makes for a fantastic night out that can’t be beat.
