Imagine having one of your favorite celebrities make their way on over to your school without you even knowing because they were undercover and in disguise as a substitute. In Nickelodeon’s hit show, The Substitute, celebrities have joined in on the fun to surprise unsuspecting kids in schools, camps and other locations by being their substitute for the day. There’s just one thing – they’re completely incognito! WWE superstars The Bella Twins are bringing a whole lot of fun in an all-new episode of The Substitute airing on Friday, January 31st at 8:00 PM (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
In the episode, The Bella Twins give students at Las Palmas Middle School in Covina, California the thrill of a lifetime as Nikki Bella goes undercover as three, hilarious substitute teacher characters. For the first time ever, the Substitute will get some extra help as Brie Bella directs from the control room. Transformed by a team of Hollywood special effects artists, Nikki Bella will go undercover as an “eccentric gym teacher who brings her dog-training techniques to the field, an awkward speech teacher preoccupied by her upcoming maid of honor duties and a career counselor obsessed with clowns” (source: press release).
At the end of the day, Nikki Bella will show her true identity to all of the students and the school will receive a donation of $25,000.
New episodes of The Substitute featuring other awesome celebrities will air weekly on Fridays at 8:00 PM (ET/PT). Fans can look forward to seeing celebrities including Rico & Raini Rodriguez, Asher Angel, Shaun White, JoJo Siwa, Johnny Orlando, Kel Mitchell, and Cooper Barnes joining in on the excitement in future episodes of the show. Previous episodes have featured John Cena and NE-YO as unforgettable substitutes. The Substitute also had two specials, the first one starring Jace Norman and the second special starring Lilly Singh.
