To celebrate the releases of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run and Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, Nickelodeon and Paramount+ hosted an absolutely unforgettable drive-in and drive-through event at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. Alexisjoyvipaccess had the most remarkable time attending the drive-through experience — so here’s a recap of the outstanding event perfect for kids and families!

The amazing drive-through experience kicked off with a terrific, windshield wipe before entering in the world of Bikini Bottom. With the pandemic, drive-in events have been all the rave, but the fun windshield wipe opportunity was such a unique touch to the Sponge On The Run drive-through event that made the experience stand out even more. Attendees were then able to say hi to SpongeBob and Patrick from the safety of their cars and drive-through iconic SpongeBob locations including Bikini Bottom, Kamp Koral and the Lost City of Atlantic City.
As guests drove through all of the awesome worlds, they were able to enjoy the upbeat and epic soundtrack of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run featuring songs like “Agua” by Tainy and J. Balvin, “How We Do” by Snoop Dogg and Monsta X, and “Krabby Step” by Tyga. The experience was so interactive and kids and their families were able to use QR codes to fully immerse themselves into the sponge-tastic, underwater world. Using the QR codes, guests were able to have fun taking pictures with SpongeBob, taking part in some fun games and challenges, and so much more.

Attendees were also given a bunch of delicious snacks that were packaged inside what looked like a brown paper lunch bag. Inside the snack bag were yummy treats including popcorn, cheddar cheese balls, milk chocolate coins, s’mores and some SpongeBob SquarePants and Kamp Koral face masks.

After the drive-through experience, guests were able to park their car and watch the full The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run, along with a special preview of Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years. The excellent event was such a safe and stupendous way to have a great time with family and bond over a brilliant movie. All COVID-19 safety precautions were taken, with stagger parking to ensure all cars were six-feet away from each other, everyone wearing masks and even the food being slid down and given to attendees safely in their car.
