The legendary Jamie Foxx returns to his TV sitcom roots in this brilliant, comedy series that follows successful business owner and bachelor, Brian Dixon (Foxx), who navigates life being a new, full-time father to his daughter, Sasha (Kyla-Drew) who moves in with him.
Raising a teenage girl sure does take a village, but good thing Brian has his family including his father (played by David Alan Grier) and his sister (portrayed by Porscha Coleman) to help him along the way and assist him to understand the worlds of TikTok, YEEZYs, selfies and more. The phenomenal series is extra close to Foxx’s heart as it is inspired off of his real-life relationship with his daughter, Corinne Foxx, who also serves as an executive producer on the series.
Any project that the consummate actor, singer and comedian Foxx gets to share his unrivaled talent and great wit in is one that is bound to be loved by the masses. And, to add onto the excitement, this series even marks the very special reunion of In Living Color co-stars Foxx and profound actor David Alan Grier together again on screen after over 25 years.
Combine Foxx’s signature comedic flair, Grier playing the role of the coolest and hippest dad (EVER!) and the shining and awe-inspiring talents of Kyla-Drew, Porscha Coleman, Miracle Reigns, Heather Hemmes, Valente Rodriguez and Jonathan Kite, and you’re in for one incredibly fun and memorable ride!
Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! truly is a wonderful, feel-good show. It has an abundance of super funny moments that will literally have you laughing out loud. And, at the same time, it shows that no matter what kind of obstacles may come your way, family will always have your back.
Starring as the best-friend everyone wants to have, the amazing Zia Williams, is the absolutely fabulous Miracle Reigns. What a gift this marvelous actress truly is to the acting world! Reigns’ character, Zia is Sasha’s best-friend in the series. She’s full of life, has lots of energy and is someone you can definitely count on to get you in some mischief. But, nevertheless, Zia is a true friend and always brings so much amusement and entertainment everywhere she goes. Needless to say, there is never a dull moment when Zia Williams is around!
The talented Miracle Reigns portrayed her character in such a show-stopping way. Reigns is a walking ray of sunshine and she radiates her positive vibes and her vivacious persona at all times. Her fun-loving and exuberant personality will make everyone feel all warm and happy inside and her acting and singing skills are mesmerizing. Miracle Reigns definitely lives up to her name – she’s kind-hearted, extremely passionate about her craft and is someone who is making a terrific mark in the entertainment industry!
