A beautiful story about second chances, teamwork and personal growth, we all have truly been counting down the days until the premiere of the remarkable, new Disney+ series, Big Shot! It’s time to get your head in the game as Disney+ is taking viewers on an inspiring and touching journey that follows Coach Marvyn Korn (played by profound and prolific actor, John Stamos), a college basketball coach who got fired from his job at the NCAA and seeks a second chance at life when he takes on a coaching position at an elite private high-school.

Coach Korn must guide a group of skillful, teenage girls to conquer the court, and throughout this time, both he and the girls learn more about themselves, the impact they have on one another and they are able to find their way both on and off the court.

Big Shot stars a superb cast of gifted actors and actresses including the aforementioned Stamos, Yvette Nicole Brown, Richard Robichaux, Jessalyn Gilsig, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio, and Cricket Wampler. This incredible cast truly gave their all and their 110% passion into the series. They all worked so hard to share so many emotional, tear-jerking, hilarious and uplifting moments to our screens through this show and they make not just a great cast, but a wonderful family, who shares such a fantastic bond both on-screen and off.

With his lucky mug always in hand, the absolutely brilliant and immensely talented Richard Robichaux stars as school counselor George Pappas in Disney+’s Big Shot. Mr. Pappas will undoubtedly be a fan-favorite character for everyone. Robichaux takes on his character in such an exceptional way and brings his wondrous talent to the series so effortlessly. The terrific Richard Robichaux, who has showcased his talent in other renowned projects including BoyhoodOcean’s 8Where’d You Go, Bernadette?, and Bernie, to name a few, is such a joy to watch on the big and small screens.


A special and unique aspect to Robichaux’s role of Mr. Pappas is that not only does Robichaux portray a teacher in the series, but he is also a professor both on reel and in real life. Robichaux is a professor at the prestigious UC San Diego, where he runs the MFA Acting Program. Needless to say, the extraordinary Robichaux has an abundance of experience, expertise and unrivaled knowledge of his acting craft and he’s able to share his acting prowess with the world through his acting projects and with his amazing students who look up to him, idolize him and respect his great work.

Professors and teachers all over the world are true frontliners, especially in today’s unprecedented times with the pandemic, and Richard Robichaux is able to touch the lives of many in a countless amount of ways – whether it’s through helping students live out their dreams or taking on outstanding, acting projects that give us all a great cinematic escape.
