Season two of Nickelodeon’s hit series, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan has officially made its way to our TV screens and Dylan Gilmer (who goes professionally by the name of Young Dylan) is bringing even more terrific rhymes to all of these amazing, new episodes! The incredible show follows the hip hop superstar in the making as he adjusts to life living with his uncle, aunt and his cousins. Life may be somewhat different to what the aspiring rap sensation is used to, but with his awesome family by his side, Young Dylan is able to chase after his dreams one rap at a time!
In this all new season of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, tons of excitement awaits including a whole lot more of incredibly funny moments with the Wilson family. From dealing with crushes to joining a Mathlete competition, this spectacular series never disappoints in bringing wholesome humor and the greatest amount of fun in every episode.
In fact, in the season two premiere of the series, fans were able to see a different angle to the show that we’ve never seen before. We’ve seen all of the laughs and epic freestyles, but in the premiere episode titled, “Food for the Soul,” viewers saw Young Dylan deal with some sadness and disappointment when his plan to return to Chicago with his mom falls short, thus causing him to question his relationship with his mom. The magnificent and truly gifted cast comprising of Young Dylan, Carl Anthony Payne II, Mieko Hillman, Hero Hunter, Celina Smith, and Jet Miller truly bring a wonderful sense of family both on-screen and off. Viewers are able to see Dylan, Rebecca, Charlie and Bethany grow throughout the series and we’re so thrilled to join in on all of the characters’ biggest life milestones.
