The story of Centaurworld is one that is very near and dear to artist Megan Nicole Dong as it was actually inspired by Dong’s own experiences as an Asian-American trying to find herself while also dealing with the pressures of having to do very well academically. But, while balancing AP classes in high school, Dong had a scheduling conflict where the only elective available for her to try out was one that opened up a new door for her and developed into a passion that would ultimately shape who she is today… show choirThis serendipitous moment was pivotal in leading Dong to her true calling – sharing her unrivaled, artistic gift with the universe.

We all can truly learn a lot from this show and its exceptional characters – from Wammawink’s nurturing persona to Horse’s go-getter, resilient spirit, the perfect balance of these characters serves as a great way of approaching all of life’s biggest adventures. Creator / Executive Producer Megan Nicole Dong, Co-Executive Producer Dominic Bisignano and the wonderful voice-cast comprising of Kimiko Glenn (Horse), Jessie Mueller (Rider), Megan Hilty (Wammawink), Parvesh Cheena (Zulius), Josh Radnor (Durpleton), and Chris Diamantopoulos (Ched) all put their heart and soul into this fun-filled project. (FYI – Megan Nicole Dong also lent her voice to the humorous character of Glendale in the series).
