You know those movies that have the most perfect cast and an equally perfect storyline? Yeah, you’re probably thinking of a few of your favorite films right now that fit those criteria. Well, there’s a new movie to add to your list and it’s Gulfstream Pictures’ The Other Zoey. Overjoyed is an understatement when it comes to describing how we felt when the cast for this film was announced.
It was recently revealed that none other than After film series superstar Josephine Langford, Outer Banks fan-favorite Drew Starkey, and Shadow and Bone standout Archie Renaux have joined the cast of The Other Zoey. It goes without saying that we haven’t been able to contain our excitement over this flick since the news broke, and we’ve been trying to get any kind of tiny glimpse that we can into this movie.
It looks like our wishes have been granted thanks to Renaux as he shared a selfie with his two cast-mates on his Instagram account. The trio has been filming for the movie in North Carolina. Although more details about filming has yet to be revealed, this amazing photo will definitely hold us over until we get to see more from The Other Zoey, like a trailer and first look stills.

According to Deadline, where the casting news was announced, The Other Zoey “centers on Zoey Miller (Langford), a bright college student who rejects traditional ideals of love and dating, only to have her entire perspective on romance turned upside down when another student mistakes her for his girlfriend, also named Zoey.” The movie will be directed by Sara Zandieh.
