The world truly is a much better place because the extraordinary Lisa Vanderpump is in it. The phenomenal Lisa Vanderpump has and continues to have many exceptional successes throughout her admirable career – from owning some of the most renowned restaurants, to being one of the most cherished TV personalities, having her own collection of wines, and the list goes on and on. But, her most awe-inspiring and commendable achievement yet has to be the unparalleled work she does through her dog rescue organization, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation.

Founded in 2016, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has assisted doggies all over the world. To date, the brilliant foundation has helped rescue and re-home 2,500 dogs and their many terrific efforts do not stop there. The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has made a difference in the lives of so many pups by assisting them in getting adopted and finding a loving home, as well as through other initiatives including offering low-cost options for spaying/neutering, operating an Emergency Medical Fund to tend to dogs in need, training dogs to become service dogs for veterans with PTSD, and even feeding and vaccinating dogs in the US, China, and other countries.

In Los Angeles, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation provides services to help doggos and find their forever homes, but the organization’s impact happens not just domestically, but internationally as well. Lisa Vanderpump has and continues to work tirelessly to assist dogs overseas and even released a documentary, The Road to Yulin and Beyond, to help put an end to the Yulin Dog Festival in China.

And, every year, we continue to see the great joy Lisa Vanderpump and her Vanderpump Dog Foundation bring to both humans and their furry friends at the World Dog Day event. This year’s celebration took place on May 28 in West Hollywood, California to great success and over a thousand attendees. The outdoor event featured over 30 pet-centered vendors and tons of exciting activities throughout the day. If you looked around  West Hollywood Park that day, you’d see everyone there smiling from ear to ear, relishing in the unmatched work The Vanderpump Dog Foundation does to honor and save dogs.

Especially with everything that has been happening in the world these past couple of years, the 2022 World Dog Day event symbolized resilience and how we can all come together to find light, hope, and happiness even in the darkest of times. For many people, a big source of happiness even in the toughest of times is through having a furry friend who you know will always be there for you.

The wonderful day was hosted by none other than Lance Bass and Michael Turchin and also featured its annual doggy fashion show. Judges at the “Vanderpump Dogs Fashion Show,” presented by The Posh Puppy Boutique, included Vanderpump Rules‘s Scheana Shay and Raquel Leviss, celebrity dog stylist, Jorge Bendersky, and People Magazine‘s “Sexiest Vet,” Dr. Evan Antin. The event crowned Haley Vanderpump as the paw-tastic winner and Lisa Vanderpump also awarded Vanderpup Brianna with The Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s “Dog of the Year” Award. Other spectacular excitement at the event included an impressive dog stunt show from 15-year-old Leyah Williams, live performances, and a dog pie eating contest.

This sensational event is just one of the many stellar ways that Lisa Vanderpump saves the lives of dogs, but it doesn’t stop there. Vanderpump continues to use celebrity shoutout app, Cameo, to raise money for The Vanderpump Dog Foundation and continue the organization’s excellent mission. The foundation has also helped dogs who have been fleeing Ukraine.

The stupendous Lisa Vanderpump is someone who doesn’t just talk the talk, she truly walks the walk. Her unwavering and vigorous endeavors to aid dogs is truly something else. And she does this all while balancing her many restaurants (she recently opened a new hotspot in Las Vegas called Vanderpump à Paris), working on a highly-anticipated 10th season of her hit show, Vanderpump Rules, being a terrific mom, grandmother, wife, and friend, and continuing to take on a countless amount of other projects in between.

When you look at Lisa Vanderpump, it’s hard not to constantly ask yourself… how does she do it all? She’s a true superhero.
