She’s a brilliant songwriter, an amazing guitarist, a fantastic pianist, a terrific actress, and a singer whose voice never fails to captivate us. To call her a multi-threat is simply an understatement and the talent that YDE brings to this world is a true gift.
YDE has been on a roll bringing out hit after hit this summer and our music playlists have been top-notch thanks to all of her releases. The extraordinary artist shared her magnificent song, “Old Her” on June 10, giving everyone an absolute bop to listen to on repeat. YDE coupled the song’s release with a powerful music video. Exceptionally choreographed, we see YDE have a battle between the “old her” and the “new her.”
The song features moving lyrics like, “She miss the old her // Even though the new her’s better than the old her // ‘Cause when you get older // You realize the answers aren’t out there // Maybe there ain’t someonе holdin’ out a hand to save me.” YDE’s lyrics are so reflective and it reminds us all that sometimes, allowing yourself to not know the answer is the best thing you can do in life.
Continuing her great music success, YDE then blessed our ears with her new song, “People Can Change.” The impactful track touches on the many things that’s happening in our world today and the hope that people can change for a better future. YDE exhibits so much emotion in the song’s music video and it’s just yet another testament to the impressive art she creates.
And, the excitement doesn’t stop there! Fans can rejoice as in no time we’ll be having more new YDE music to jam out to as the unparalleled musician announced that her EP, Send Help will release on Sept. 9.
The hard-working artist shared a Reel on her Instagram account as seen below announcing the big news. Along with the post, she wrote, “three years in the making… my first EP ‘send help’ out september 9th :))”
