Although AppleTV+‘s highly-acclaimed and riveting series, See is coming to a close with its third and final season, it’s just the beginning of even more action-packed and gripping moments in this incredibly compelling show. For three seasons, See has brought viewers into a dystopian future with none other than consummate actor, Jason Momoa defying all odds as the great Baba Voss. From skillfully choreographed and executed fight scenes, to nail-biting cliffhangers, and all of the moments that will leave you at the edge of your seat, Apple TV+’s See is a captivating work of art, and this third season will truly deliver to all expectations.
See takes place after a deadly virus wiped out a majority of the population, and those who remain do not have the ability to see. Season three picks up where season two left off after Baba defeated his vengeful brother, Edo. Baba has decided to live an isolated life in the forest, but when a new threat looms upon his tribe, Baba must make his way back to Paya in order to keep his people safe. This third season introduces a new peril when a Trivantian scientist develops a form of sighted weaponry that puts Baba’s tribe in extreme danger.
AppleTV+ hosted an extraordinary and extravagant premiere to ring in the final season of See in a big way on Aug. 23 at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, California. Jason Momoa, Hera Hilmar, Nesta Cooper, Olivia Cheng, Yadira Guevara-Prip, and more of the incredible cast joined together to celebrate the special day.
Inside the screening, Momoa excitedly welcomed guests and expressed his great passion for working on the series and creating such a strong, familial bond with his cast-mates.
“I’ve never played a role [where] I’ve gotten to go through the whole arc and spend so much time with a character that I love so deeply,” said Momoa.
Attendees at the event were then immersed into the world of Paya and got to see the masterful, third season come to life. Filled with a countless amount of adrenaline-filled and jaw-dropping moments, season three kicks off in the most engrossing way. See is a series that makes a tremendous impact with representation as the show features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision.
