It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and no, we’re not talking about the holidays, we’re talking about when the ghouls, the ghosts, and the spirits come out to play. Spooky season is off to an incredible start with renowned streaming service, Peacock bringing all the thrills with an endless amount of binge-watching content to get you in the Halloween spirit. And, to kick off a whole month of scares the right way, Peacock hosted a spook-tacular special screening of Insidious on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.
Watching one of the most terrifying, horror films is one thing, but watching it in a cemetery?! Now that just takes eerie to a whole different level. 😬 Peacock and Tinder teamed up to throw one epic, monster mash. Attendees at the event got treated to the ultimate Halloween bash with a variety of mouthwatering burgers from Baby’s Badass Burgers including their Original Beauty, their All American Girl, and their Au Naturale with a side of seasoned, yummy curly fries. Getting prepped for a big night of thrills means filling up on some more delicious grub. The event also had scrumptious pizza from Urbn Pizza LA with freshly-made margarita, veggie, and pepperoni pies.
Guests got to sip on flavorful drinks including a special ‘Ghost in the Orchard’ hot apple cider, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, rosé, IPA, blonde ale, and modelo especial. Halloween isn’t complete without some remarkable candy apples. Peacock’s screening event also had a candy apple stand where attendees got to have their own candy apple made with chocolate, white-chocolate, or caramel dip and an assortment of toppings.
After enjoying some delectable bites and taking pictures at the many photo-opp areas, it was time for shivers to be sent down guests’ spines with the screening of Insidious. Attendees had their own picnic area with a blanket, comfy pillows to rest their back on, and concessions including popcorn and candy. Needless to say, the night was filled with more treats than tricks.
