It’s touchdown time! Combine video gaming along with gaming IRL on the football field and you get Paramount+‘s incredible, original movie, Fantasy Football premiering on the streaming platform on Friday, Nov. 25. The stupendous and heartfelt film shows that the best teammates you can have is family.
Fantasy Football, produced by Nickelodeon Films in partnership with The SpringHill Company and Genius Entertainment, follows Callie A. Coleman (portrayed by the immensely talented Marsai Martin) who has lived in seven cities before her 16th birthday because her football player dad is not so quick on his feet when he’s on the field. But, when she realizes she can help her dad get on his A-game by playing as him in EA SPORTS Madden NFL 23, Callie and her dad, Bobby (played by gifted actor Omari Hardwick) team up to make him the ultimate star player. However, with the NFL Playoffs soon approaching and Callie’s commitment to being on the robotics team, she must learn to balance it all while keeping her secret of being able to control her dad’s football skills on the down low. A heartwarming and genuine narrative about family with an innovative storyline, Fantasy Football is a perfect watch for sports enthusiasts, fantasy fans, and anyone who is down for a great movie to see.
The outstanding flick stars the incomparable Martin, who also produced the film, along with the aforementioned Hardwick, profound actress, Kelly Rowland, and the extraordinary Rome Flynn. The movie also features the talents of Elijah Richardson, Hanani Taylor, Abigail Killmeier, Tyla Harris, and Isac Ivan.
The phenomenal cast joined together for an exciting night celebrating the Los Angeles premiere of Fantasy Football on Nov. 17 at the Paramount Pictures Lot. The terrific carpet, which resembled a football field, was filled with so much love. The cast’s chemistry was seen not only on the big screen, but on the premiere carpet as well with tons of hugs, laughs, and great smiles shared between the cast-members. Consummate actor, director, and producer, Michael B. Jordan also came out to show his support towards the cast at the event.
The premiere featured a spectacular tailgate pre-screening party where guests were able to get their game on with football-themed treats, a photo booth, and more excitement. Then, attendees were invited to make their way over to the Sherry Lansing Theatre to get a first look at the magnificent motion picture.

As you’re recovering from all of the food from Thanksgiving, there’s no better way to continue the fun of football season than by watching Fantasy Football with your friends and family.
