This is the end, my friend.
Although the third season of Star Trek: Picard is the show’s final season, the legacy of this incredible series will remain forever. The geniuses behind the show have made this season even more grand and adventurous to give this story a culmination that Star Trek fans will never forget. There’s more action, a whole lot of nostalgia, and Jean-Luc Picard’s biggest mission yet. Season three of Star Trek: Picard is here, and it’s here to mesmerize.
“In the epic, thrilling conclusion of Star Trek: Picard, a desperate message from a long-lost friend draws Starfleet legend Admiral Jean-Luc Picard into the most daring mission of his life, forcing him to recruit allies spanning generations old and new. This final adventure sets him on a collision course with the legacy of his past and explosive, new revelations that will alter the fate of the Federation forever” (source: press release).
While there will be many familiar faces from Star Trek: The Next Generation reuniting for the third season of Star Trek: Picard, there will also be some new additions to the Star Trek family this season including Ed Speleers and Todd Stashwick. Speleers will play “a series regular who aids Beverly Crusher’s medical efforts on worlds Starfleet has forgotten” (source: press release) while Stashwick will have a “recurring role as captain of the U.S.S. Titan” (source: press release).
Paramount+ honored the end of an era with a special Los Angeles premiere for Star Trek: Picard season three held on Feb. 9. The renowned TCL Chinese Theatre was bustling with the show’s beloved, admired, and respected stars making their way to the blue carpet of the event.

Consummate actor, the iconic Sir Patrick Stewart, attended the premiere and was all smiles posing alongside his cast-members at the event.
Along with the post shared below on his Instagram account, Stewart wrote, “Ran into some dear old friends in LA last night… #StarTrekPicard.”
It was moving to see these stupendous actors join together to celebrate a remarkable season and the everlasting impact they’ve made on Star Trek history. And, it was truly magical to see all of the fantastic Trekkies lined up across Hollywood Boulevard decked out in their greatest Star Trek cosplay for the monumental day.
