It’s not everyday that you get to have a drink served to you by Star Trek’s iconic character, Spock, but at CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment’s special Star Trek: Strange New Worlds trivia night event, attendees were able to fully immerse themselves into the legendary show’s atmosphere in a way like no other. In honor of the season one release of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on Blu-ray, DVD, and limited-edition 4K UHD Steelbook, CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment invited guests to test out their Star Trek: Strange New Worlds knowledge at a fun event held at Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood, California on March 24.
Attendees got to embrace the “live long and prosper” motto as soon as they walked into the intergalactic bar. The event had Star Trek: Strange New Worlds-inspired drinks including a Quantum Singularity drink, a Vulcan Pon Farr drink, and a Samarian Sunset drink. A good game of trivia requires some fuel, of course, and guests were able to nom on some scrumptious grub inspired from the show.
Then, it was game time! Trivia was hosted by Star Trek science advisor, Dr. Erin Macdonald. Macdonald also gave attendees a look at some behind-the-scenes moments and deleted clips from the highly-acclaimed series. After answering several trivia questions, guests took a break and got to ask their most burning Star Trek questions to Macdonald, who gave even more other-worldly insight into the Star Trek universe.
CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment’s trivia night event was a creative, exciting, and truly remarkable way to celebrate the show’s first season release on Blu-ray, DVD, and limited-edition 4K UHD Steelbook. Super-fans are in for a lot of treats with this release, which includes over 100 minutes of special features, including cast and crew interviews, deleted scenes, and a gag reel.

The series features fan favorites from season two of Star Trek: Discovery, Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. The series follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.”
