
Every adventure begins with a dream. Disney+’s original film, Better Nate Than Ever, is one that completely captured everyone’s heart. The movie follows 13-year-old Nate Foster as he embarks on an exciting journey to make his dream of being a Broadway star a reality. He takes a big leap with his best-friend, Libby, and visits the Big Apple to audition for Lilo and Stitch: The Musical. What ensues is a trip filled with a whole lot of musical magic as Nate takes on the city that never sleeps to find his light.
The magnificently talented Rueby Wood took on the role of the titular character Nate in the movie. The extraordinary Rueby Wood is the definition of a multi-threat. He’s a terrific actor, a fantastic dancer, and a stellar singer. Wood has had experience both in community and regional theater, having starred as Michael Banks in Mary Poppins at the Syracuse Stage. It’s clear to see that Wood was the perfect choice to play the role of Nate, and he knocked the ball right out of the park with his unparalleled talent. The spectacular Rueby Wood was even nominated for an Emmy award for his brilliant work in the film. Rueby Wood’s talent is mesmerizing and indescribable, and we know that his amazing career in the entertainment industry will continue to skyrocket!
