Same name, same passion, nothing in common. An exciting, musical explosion is making its way to Nickelodeon with the premiere of Erin & Aaron on Thursday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The network is ordering up a new family and is bringing tons of excellent, music moments to our screens in this brilliant show. Erin & Aaron follows “teenage step siblings, Erin (Ava Ro) and Aaron (Jensen Gering), as they navigate their new lives after their parents’ marriage, and find strength in their shared passion for music.” The show will feature original songs and performances that we all can jam out to.
According to the press release, “following the premiere, new episodes of the 13-episode-long season will be available on Nickelodeon weekly on Thursdays.”
We’re super thrilled to join Erin and Aaron on all of their family adventures. In the meantime, let’s meet the spectacular cast of the show!
Ava Ro: The fabulous Ro takes on the role of the titular character, Erin, in the show. Ro gets to bring both of her passions together to our screens–acting and singing. She is an incredibly talented musician and frequently shares covers on her Instagram account that we love watching. In fact, the marvelous Ava Ro released her very own debut EP in 2022. We could seriously listen to her beautiful, singing voice all day. Ava Ro is also a familiar face in other projects including the HBO Max series, Home Sweet Rome, Holly Hobbie, and more.
Jensen Gering: Gering portrays the amazing role of Aaron in the series. Gering has also been seen in the movie, Wickensburg. The gifted Gering got his start in the entertainment business at the ripe age of two years old and has appeared in several print and television campaigns for brands including Guess, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, Puma, and more. Gering is a true multi-threat – he’s a remarkable singer, songwriter, and guitarist.
Larisa Oleynik: Oleynik plays the role of Sylvia in Nickelodeon’s Erin & Aaron. She’s a fan-favorite actress that has been in a countless amount of renowned projects including 10 Things I Hate About You, The Baby-Sitters Club, Boy Meets World, Pretty Little Liars, Hawaii Five-0, Trinkets, and the list goes on and on. Oleynik actually is a Nickelodeon veteran and starred in All That and The Secret World of Alex Mack, so we’re elated to see her return to the network. Oleynik also is a stellar voice actress and voiced the roles of Icy, Faragonda, and Marion in the animated series, Winx Club.
David S Jung: Jung stars as Chuck in Erin & Aaron. The phenomenal actor has also shared his talent in Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., Prom Pact, I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, and many more. He also has an impressive voice-acting career with work in projects including Family Guy, BoJack Horseman, and many more. A fun fact according to his IMDB page is that he was even “a former US and World Air Guitar Champion and was featured in the documentary, Air Guitar Nation.”
Pyper Braun: Braun shines on our TV screens as Natasha in Erin & Aaron. The vivacious Braun has wowed viewers with her terrific work in Country Comfort and Raven’s Home. She also appeared in another hit Nickelodeon show, That Girl Lay Lay, as Brandi Willingham. The lovely Pyper Braun is also a skilled, competitive dancer.
