The greatest gift is one last dance. Warner Bros.’ Magic Mike’s Last Dance was a box office hit when it released on Valentine’s Day. Fans of the franchise flocked to theaters for the best Valentine’s Day date. And now, we were all given the best Tatum Tuesday with the release of the movie on Blu-Ray and DVD on April 18. It may not actually be the last dance after all as we get to watch Magic Mike’s Last Dance over and over again with this spectacular release.
The alluring film, which is the third installment in the Magic Mike franchise, follows a down on his luck Mike Lane (played by fan-favorite heartthrob Channing Tatum), who is broke and bartending in Florida. But, his luck instantly changes when he meets a wealthy socialite named Max (portrayed by prolific actress Salma Hayek Pinault), who asks for one last dance. Although Mike doesn’t dance anymore, he gives it a final go, and it opens up a new opportunity for him. Max offers him the chance to choreograph a stage production in London. Mike and Max are then put to the test to work together and push through any obstacles that come their way in order to put on a show unlike anything that has been seen before in the West End.
What ensues is almost two hours of awe-inspiring (and oh, so sultry) dance routines that will literally make you 🥵 and an empowering story that emphasizes that “a woman can have whatever she wants, whenever she wants.” From the incredible, rain dance scene (that you’ll be rewinding multiple times to see), to the touching love story, and (🚨 spoiler alert 🚨) a cameo from Magic Mike cast-members Matt Bomer, Kevin Nash, Joe Manganiello, and Adam Rodriguez, Magic Mike’s Last Dance truly is one big hurrah.
