Who run the world?! Strong, powerful and admirable women like the unparalleled Lisa Ling. Not too many people can say they’ve made as much of an impact in the world as the incredible Lisa Ling has. A stupendous, dedicated and passionate journalist, Ling has covered some of the most important and groundbreaking stories. To others, a story may be too complex or hard to report on, but for top-notch television host, Ling, she takes on any story and digs in deep to bring awareness to some of the toughest subjects.
Ling got her start in media being one of the youngest reporters / anchors on Channel One News. She then became known for her work hosting This Is Life with Lisa Ling on CNN. The outstanding Lisa Ling was also a co-host on The View, a special correspondent for The Oprah Winfrey Show, and a host of Our America with Lisa Ling and National Geographic Explorer. Ling traveled to North Korea and gave a look inside the country. She’s taken on assignments as a war correspondent in Iraq and Afghanistan, and covered elephant poaching in Chad, amongst many other eye-opening pieces.
Aside from being the GOAT of journalism, another one of Ling’s many accomplishments is being a stupendous mom to her two, lovely daughters. Her kids have such an inspiring, intelligent and multi-faceted mom to look up to and what a gift that truly is. She also champions for more representation of the Asian community.
Lisa Ling is someone who needs no introduction. The world truly is a better place because of this trailblazer.
