When danger is lurking around, there’s one family that can always be counted on to save the day. Our favorite superhero family is back and is bringing all the thunder. You know who we’re talking about…none other than the Thundermans! After six years of missing all of the Thunder-fam’s adventures on our screens, Nickelodeon and Paramount+ made all of our dreams come true with the return of the Thunderman family to Hiddenville in the original movie, The Thundermans Return. The film, which reunited all of the original series cast-members, was a massive hit. It became the number-one Entertainment telecast for the year to date in Live+3 performance across all cable among Kids 6-11, and reached 1.6 million Total Viewers throughout its premiere weekend.
But, the crime-fighting excitement doesn’t stop there! It’s been recently announced that The Thundermans will be having a spinoff series with Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, and Maya Le Clark reprising their beloved roles as Phoebe, Max, and Chloe, respectively. According to the press release, “The spinoff series will follow Phoebe and Max, who are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the seaside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe along to develop her superhero talent.”
Not only has the cast of The Thundermans brought so many masterpieces to our screens—between all of the episodes of the show to the action-packed movie—but they have also created a second family for us all to be a part of. This cast is truly unparalleled and some of the greatest memories that kids and families have made together have been because of Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Maya Le Clark, Chris Tallman, and Rosa Blasi. The Thundermans family has made a big difference in the lives of many, and we’re so thrilled to see all that’s in store with this highly-anticipated spinoff.
