It’s tea time! Femme It Forward, a spectacular platform with a goal to highlight women’s unparalleled achievements in music and entertainment and continue to put a spotlight on them, hosted a lovely High Tea event on June 6 in Los Angeles, California. The marvelous event kicked off the 2025 BET Awards weekend and honored three phenomenal women who have been making a great impact: Olympic medalist Jordan Chiles, actress and entrepreneur Crystal Renee Hayslett, and BET’s EVP & CMO, Kim Paige.

Femme It Forward founder, the admirable Heather Lowery, shared some inspiring words and said, “This tea is about celebrating not just visibility, but vulnerability, strength, and leadership. Today’s honorees embody what it means to be fearless and feminine all at once.”

Women Leading the Way at the Femme It Forward High Tea

According to the press release, “Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles was recognized for her unwavering dedication to excellence and her role as a model of resilience and representation in sports. Actor and producer Crystal Renee Hayslett was honored for her impact in storytelling and her ongoing commitment to uplifting Black women in business and media. The event also celebrated Kim Paige, BET’s Head of Marketing, whose creative leadership continues to shape the cultural resonance of the BET Awards and brand.”

A sensational event recognizing women trailblazers

Guests had a fantastic time at the event, which featured a live pianist and violinist, stellar tributes as women gave each other their flowers, and wonderful toasts. Attendees enjoyed signature cocktails with incredibly cute drink names inspired by the event—including “FemmeininiTEA” and “Spill the Té.”
