Being a sports mom certainly isn’t easy. From traveling across the country to attend your child’s games to balancing the day-to-day schedules of the rest of your family, there’s a lot that goes into being a dedicated sports parent. This brilliant series gives viewers a glimpse into the hectic world of a team mom.
Team Moms: Baseball follows seven families whose sons attend Legendary Prep Academy, a premier baseball training school in Scottsdale, Arizona. As their sons set their sights on the prize and work toward their baseball careers, drama ensues among the parents. Friends, foes, gossip, vacations, and everything in between, there’s never a dull moment in this binge-worthy reality series. As stated in the show’s official synopsis, “Willing to do whatever it takes for their children to excel at America’s favorite pastime, the intensity of the game is only paralleled by the fervor of its athlete’s parents, who will stop at nothing to ensure their kids make it to the big leagues.”
Meet the Cast of Team Moms: Baseball
With the show officially premiering on Paramount+ on Sept. 24, we get to step inside the lives of these families who are taking competition to another level, both on and off the field. The series stars Erin Wolczik, Heather Feldhacker, Melanie Dunmar, Nina Scoffone, Rylee Baldri, Trina Taylor, and Trish Mears.
Each family has its own stories and backgrounds, which makes it interesting to get to know them and their kids as the show plays out. But as many of the team moms have shared in our interviews, their main takeaway for viewers is that they hope other sports families can relate to the many challenges and sacrifices that come with being passionate parents of children involved in competitive sports.
