Everyone has a story, and every story makes each person so unique and so fantastic in their own way. In another all new and incredibly inspiring episode of Nickelodeon’s spectacular show, The HALO Effect, the extraordinary and admirable teen that will be profiled is Princeton Carter whose work with his organization “My Brother’s Keeper NOLA” helps bring out the brave, courageous, and awe-inspiring stories of military veterans. The heart-warming and magnificent episode will air on Friday, October 14th at 9:00 PM ET / PT.

According to the press release, “Carter was inspired to help people in his community after Hurricane Katrina damaged his city and left millions of people without homes.  Through the tragedy, Carter discovered the importance of community and was inspired to create “My Brother’s Keeper NOLA,” an organization whose mission is to help bring hope to the homeless, hungry, military veterans, women and children in New Orleans and the surrounding communities in need.  The organization’s newest program was born out of learning that over 20 million military veterans are living in the U.S. with stories of bravery that have never been told or documented.  Hoping to preserve veterans’ legacies for future generations, Carter records their heroic stories and uploads them to the Library of Congress’ website.”

We are and will forever be always so grateful for everything that those who serve our country do. Already, Princeton Carter’s organization, “My Brother’s Keeper NOLA” has provided over $30,000 in resources for military families and more than 500 items including clothing, toys, and books for those in need in his community. In honor of all that Princeton Carter has done with his organization to help bring out the remarkable stories of veterans, Nickelodeon will be awarding his organization a $10,000 grant.

With each outstanding episode of The HALO Effect, the profiled teen brings out an exciting #HALOEffectChallenge to get viewers up and ready to HALO as well. Princeton Carter is asking all of you to record a story about a person who is important in your life and / or take a selfie with him / her and post it on social media using #HALOEffectChallenge. What a wonderful challenge for viewers to join in on!

“My Brother’s Keeper NOLA” will definitely be another touching and sensational episode of Nickelodeon’s The HALO Effect and we continue to be amazed with how there are so many exceptional individuals in this world who are making such a terrific impact. If you asked us what our favorite thing about the lovely Sydney Park is, we’d have a really tough time choosing – there are just so many things that makes Sydney Park oh, so incredible! Sydney Park is one phenomenal and gifted actress. We’ve seen her in exceptional projects including Nickelodeon’s Instant Mom and Nickelodeon’s original movie, One Crazy Cruise and of course, we can’t forget when we all first spotted Sydney Park as the amazing child actress who stole our hearts in That’s So Raven. It’s clear to see that the wonderful Sydney Park has always had a passion for acting and she continues to leave us in awe with just how much of a brilliant actress she is. We also always enjoy watching Sydney Park host Nickelodeon’s inspiring show, The HALO Effect and an amazing, new project of hers includes the recent release of her movie, “The Standoff.” In addition to being a spectacular actress, Sydney Park is also a fashion queen. Anytime we see her on the red carpet, she always manages to take the title of “Best Dressed” and she rocks some of the greatest and most sophisticated and chic event attires. Sydney Park is so sensational and such a beauty both inside and out!

I, Alexisjoyvipaccess had a great time covering “The Standoff” movie premiere and had a terrific time catching up with and interviewing the marvelous Sydney Park again at the event. Education is an important part of everyone’s life and in order to have a successful time in school and getting the best education you can get, it’s a necessity to have people there to support you and encourage you to do everything to the best of your abilities in school. In an all new, inspiring episode of Nickelodeon’s phenomenal show, The HALO Effect, the episode profiles 17-year-old Stephanie Quintero and her amazing work supporting underprivileged children in the US with tutoring opportunities. The episode is set to air on Friday, September 23rd at 8:30 PM ET / PT.

According to the press released, “Quintero founded “Chicos and Kids” in 2010 after visiting her grandparents in Colombia and learning that the local kids’ school was underfunded.  Along with her brother, Quintero began teaching English classes to kids in Colombia every summer and she has also inspired another young girl to teach English in Guatemala.  “Chicos and Kids” focuses on teaching underprivileged and immigrant children in Maryland, who are struggling in school and need help adjusting to American culture.” As a result of all of Stephanie Quintero’s hard work, Nickelodeon will be awarding her organization a $10,000 grant.

With each exceptional episode of The HALO Effect, the profiled teen brings out an exciting HALO Effect Challenge that motivates viewers to get up and Help And Lead Others too. Stephanie Quintero is asking all viewers to share a photo of them with a sign thanking a teacher / mentor or volunteering to be a mentor and to use the hashtag #HALOEffectChallenge – what a wonderful way to influence others to get involved.

It’s so incredible to see what Stephanie Quintero and all of these other admirable teens are doing in The HALO Effect to help make this world a better place. Article: Get Inspired With An All New Episode Of The HALO Effect “FROGS” Airing 8/12!

Each month, we all always look forward to a new episode of Nickelodeon’s outstanding and incredibly influential show, The HALO Effect, and each episode continues to motivate us even more to do good for others and help make this world a better place. It is always so wonderful to see all of these admirable teens go out of their way to help others and show that we all can do the same!

In an all new episode of The HALO Effect premiering on August 12th at 8:30 PM ET / PT, we are able to see the spectacular Will Lourcey as he helps put an end to childhood hunger by providing meals for underprivileged kids through his organization, FROGS (Friends Reaching Our Goals).

According to the press release, “Lourcey’s interest in childhood hunger and community service began at age seven, when he realized some people in the Fort Worth area were going hungry and did not have access to healthy and affordable food.  After volunteering at a local food bank, Lourcey and a group of friends founded FROGS, a kid-run organization that helps underprivileged kids in his community.  Every month, FROGS works with the local Boys and Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth to host a kids-only dinner club which provides nutritious meals and teaches lessons about nutrition and eating healthy.

Over the past six years, FROGS has provided over 200,000 healthy meals for kids through the Tarrant Area Food Bank and FROGS Dinner Club, helped pack over 80,000 backpacks with food for hungry children through its Backpacks for Kids program, and helped serve over 10,000 families through the Mobile Food Pantry.  Along with the monthly dinner club, Lourcey also runs numerous service projects and fundraisers, and speaks at local schools to inspire kids to give back to their community.  In recognition of his commitment to end childhood hunger, Nickelodeon’s The HALO Effect will award a $10,000 grant to Lourcey’s organization.”


In each exceptional episode of The HALO Effect, the profiled teen brings out a “HALO Effect Challenge” encouraging viewers to join in on the cause. Will Lourcey is asking all of you to partake in the “HALO Effect Challenge” by donating canned goods to your local food shelter or posting a photo of you and your favorite healthy meal or snacks on your social media networks by using the hashtag #HALOEffectChallenge.

It’s the day we all have been waiting for… the trailer for the highly-anticipated movie starring all of our faves including Olivia Holt, Ryan McCartan, the Merrell Twins, Audrey Whitby, Sydney Park, Alex Wolff and more has finally been released! Can we get a woot, woot?! We’ve seen all of their outstanding behind-the-scenes pics while on set filming for the movie and we couldn’t help but get super excited. Now, our excitement level has increased as we’re getting an inside look at the awesome movie with the trailer that was released on the Merrell Twins’ YouTube channel today!

The Standoff Movie is about a group of teens who can’t stand each other, but they will have to spend three days with each other, with no sleep, as they try to win the car of their dreams. Who will win and who will not be able to stand being with these fellow frenemies, find out by watching the movie which is available on iTunes, Amazon Instant, Google Play, and VUDU on September 20th.

We all know how important technology is in our life – from having to do our homeworks and essays on the computer and submitting a printed copy of our work to our teachers, to even keeping updated with all of the current affairs in the world. It seems as though the life we live is becoming more and more reliant on technology as the days go by; and that’s why this month, in an all new episode of Nickelodeon’s stupendous show, The HALO Effect, we are celebrating Christopher Cao and his amazing efforts to help give underprivileged children access to technology. The new episode, “Reboot for Youth” airs on Friday, July 22nd at 8:30 PM ET / PT.

According to the press release, “Cao’s interest in rebuilding computers for families in need started in 2013 when he was a volunteer at GIVE, a free tutoring program for low-income families.  While tutoring, Cao met a young student who did not have a computer at home and was forced to use the public library computers each night to complete homework.  In 2014, Cao decided to start “Reboot for Youth,” an organization focused on improving educational opportunities for underprivileged children in his community, through increased access to technology.  The organization reaches out to local businesses to donate old or broken computers, which Cao and his team then diagnose, rebuild and distribute to those in need.”

It is so incredible to see how Christopher Cao is putting together his passion for technology with his love for helping others – such an inspiring story of a wonderful teen who serves as a great role model to this generation. Christopher Cao has already helped distribute over 150 computers within his community and has even helped introduce similar projects to other countries including Kenya, Costa Rica, Vietnam and Cambodia. As a result of all of his hard work and efforts to make this world a better place, Nickelodeon is awarding a $10,000 grant to Cao’s organization.

Article: Join The Adams Sisters As They Bring Clean Water To Impoverished Countries In Nickelodeon’s New “The HALO Effect” Episode Premiering 6/17!

Creativity and inspiration comes together in an all new episode of Nickelodeon’s stupendous and magnificent show, The HALO Effect. In the upcoming, phenomenal episode of The HALO Effect airing on June 17th at 8:30 PM ET / PT, the episode focuses on two spectacular sisters, Isabelle and Katherine Adams, as they create origami ornaments to help raise money for a Navajo reservation in New Mexico that is in need of clean water.

According to the press release, “The Adams sisters started their organization, Paper for Water, five years ago after learning that girls in some countries don’t attend school because they spend their days hauling water, and that a child dies every 20 seconds from unclean water.  They decided to make a change by collecting donations to help build wells in impoverished countries and the United States in exchange for their origami ornaments.  Paper for Water partners with other non-profit organizations: Living Water International, to identify where a well should be placed in impoverished countries and which residents will help maintain it, and DIGDEEP to help Indian reservations in the United States gain better access to clean water.”

Isabelle and Katherine Adams have been working hard with their Paper for Water organization and have received a lot of success with it. To this date, the Adams sisters have raised nearly $800,000 to fund more than 100 water projects in countries including Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, India, Mexico, Peru and Nicaragua. As a result of all of their hard work and their inspiration to others to help make this world a better place to live in, Nickelodeon is awarding the Adams sisters a $10,000 grant to their organization.

With each magnificent episode of The HALO Effect the featured teen brings out a “HALO Effect Challenge” that encourages all of the viewers at home to participate and show their support. Isabelle and Katherine Adams are asking all of you to make an origami butterfly and take a selfie with it and / or post a photo or video showing how you conserve water and share it using the hashtag #HALOEffectChallenge.

The Adams sisters are truly so admirable and all of The HALO Effect featured teens are absolutely incredible for motivating everyone to do the best for other people and the world we live in. Hey Sydney Park and Breanna Yde, can we pretty please join your awesome jam sesh next time? Two incredible and sensational Nickelodeon stars, Breanna Yde and Sydney Park, had a terrific time yesterday, May 21, 2016 as they jammed out and spent some time together.

Sydney Park shared the amazing video below through her Instagram account of herself and Breanna Yde singing along to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and it is totally giving us all the feels.

Not only are these two marvelous, young ladies such brilliant actresses, but they also are phenomenal singers who have such beautiful and angelic vocals!

Breanna Yde wrote along with a photo she shared through her Instagram account, “They see me rollin🏎 Yesterday with @heysydneypark was lit🔥🔥😜.”

Article: Get Ready To Code With A One-Hour Special Of Game Shakers Titled “Revenge @ Tech Fest” Premiering 5/21!

Get ready to code! Nickelodeon is greatly encouraging people to follow their dreams and continue their passion of working in computing fields by teaming up with Girls Who Code for an exciting, highly-anticipated one-hour special of Game Shakers titled, “Revenge @ Tech Fest!” The episode will premiere on Saturday, May 21st at 8:00 PM ET / PT. “Revenge @ Tech Fest” focuses on the “… Game Shakers team [as they] prep for Tech Fest, a technology convention in Brooklyn, to showcase their new game OctoPie.  When an enemy from the past resurfaces at the event to seek vengeance, the crew needs to enlist the Girls Who Code to help defeat it” (source: press release).

In addition to the marvelous episode, Nickelodeon will be releasing a new app called Octopie that is inspired by the show. According to the press release, “The game challenges players to guide a pizza-delivering octopus up and down a New York high-rise building, while flinging pizzas through open windows, avoiding obstacles and collecting tips along the way.  OctoPie marks the third game from the TV series to reach #1 among free apps in the App Store Kids category, and is available now on the App Store, Google Play and Fire tablets.  Sky Whale was the first app to launch in conjunction with the series premiere in 2015, followed by Nasty Goats this past February.”

It is so wonderful to see all that Nickelodeon is doing to help close the gender gap in the world of STEM and computing fields. In fact, Nickelodeon is even airing another inspiring episode of The HALO Effect featuring the admirable teen Christina Li, who uses her computer skills to motivate girls who are interested in being in the computing fields and Li also organizes a computer camp. The HALO Effect “Hello World ” episode airs tonight at 8:30 PM ET / PT . Article: Nickelodeon Encourages Girls’ Participation In Computer Science In The All New “The HALO Effect” Episode Airing 5/20!

Month after month, we all are absolutely mesmerized by the incredible and inspiring episodes of Nickelodeon’s masterpiece of a show called, The HALO Effect. Nickelodeon and all of the admirable profiled teens truly motivate everyone to make this world a better place in more ways than imaginable. In this month’s episode premiering on May 20th at 8:30 PM ET / PT, The HALO Effect profiles the remarkable Christina Li and her effort to encourage girls’ participation in computer science. The episode “Hello World,” shows Christina Li as she organizes a computer science camp for girls in Michigan to help inspire them to follow their dreams in the computer science world.

According to the press release, “Li’s interest in coding started in the third grade when she picked up a copy of HTML for Dummies and began building websites for fun.  Falling in love with tech and being a natural, Li joined her school’s Robotics Club and participated in numerous summer tech programs to advance her learning.  During a computer science summer class, she noticed that most of the students were males and there was only one other girl besides herself.  Looking to close the gender gap in the tech world, Li created Hello World,   a computer science day camp specifically for young girls.  The camp aims to teach programing code, web development, app and game design and robotics through fun and immersive workshops.  In recognition of her outstanding leadership and encouragement, Nickelodeon will award a $10,000 grant to Li’s camp.”

With each episode of The HALO Effect, the profiled teen brings out a “HALO Effect Challenge” to invite all viewers to show their support. Christina Li’s “HALO Effect Challenge” is for everyone to share a photo of their favorite emoji face or a screenshot of them completing three levels of a coding game using the hashtag #HALOEffectChallenge.

Nickelodeon is known for making everyone’s dreams come true and inspiring people to accomplish their goals. To further encourage more girls to continue on their passion for computer science, Nickelodeon has even more excitement planned out.

The press release also stated, “Continuing its commitment to build awareness around STEM education and coding with kids, Nickelodeon is working with organizations like Girls Who Code,, MIT Scratch and Afterschool Alliance.  Along with the coding-themed HALO Effect premiere, the network is supporting its efforts with a brand-new hour-long episode of Game Shakers “Revenge @ Tech Fest,” airing Saturday, May 21, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.  Produced in partnership with Girls Who Code, the Game Shakers enlist the help of Girls Who Code to defeat a mysterious creature seeking vengeance at Tech Fest.  The special features two members of an LA-based Girls Who Code club as extras.  Additionally, Nickelodeon is launching a new game, “Code a Character,” (May 16) on, a new site where kids can  play Nickelodeon-themed coding games and learn more about the importance of computer science.”
