One young girl’s ability to sleep may be the key 🔑 to saving humankind in the midst of a mass hysteria in Netflix’s incredibly captivating thriller, Awake. Netflix recently released the gripping trailer for the upcoming film and it goes without saying that Awake is one of those movies that will certainly have you hooked within the first few seconds.

The stellar film stars actress Gina Rodriguez and the great talents of Ariana Greenblatt, Frances Fisher, Shamier Anderson, Finn Jones, Lucius Hoyos, Gil Bellows, with Barry Pepper and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

In Awake, “a mysterious catastrophe wipes out all electronics and takes away humanity’s ability to sleep. Scientists race against the clock to find a cure for the unexplained insomnia before its fatal effects eliminate the human race. In the trailer, we see the individuals go through several stages from disorientation to hallucinations. The two-minute long teaser of the film does an incredible job of bringing viewers to the edge of their seats anxiously waiting for the film’s release on June 9th. With a compelling and unique storyline and an all-star cast, Awake is a jaw-dropping and riveting movie that millions of households worldwide will be in awe watching.
