An incredibly uplifting story about faith, fatherhood and family, Netflix’s new masterpiece of a film, Blue Miracle will surely reel everyone in for a magnificent, cinematic experience that will truly touch your heart. Hope is on the line in this extraordinary film, directed by Julio Quintana, which follows a group of boys from a local orphanage, Casa Hogar, and their guardian Omar (portrayed by Jimmy Gonzales) who team up with a short-tempered, two-time Bisbee fishing tournament champion (played by Dennis Quaid) for a chance to win the coveted $250,000 prize and save the orphanage. This terrific film will bring about a sea of emotions and will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on all viewers.

Blue Miracle, which is based on a true story, centers on the Casa Hogar orphanage that’s on the verge of bankruptcy. Problems heighten when Hurricane Odile makes its way to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico and devastates the community. In order to keep life in Cabo San Lucas somewhat at a normalcy after the natural disaster, Wayne Bisbee, the head of the renowned Bisbee Black & Blue Fishing Tournament, continues to host the championship, this time a little differently. After Hurricane Odile, an anonymous donor pledged to pay the entry fee for any team that agrees to hire a local boat, helping to bring money back into the local economy. This silver lining moment gives Casa Hogar a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rescue the place that’s served as their safe haven for so long.
