The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is back… and slimier than ever! This year’s awards show is bound to make records and will be even bigger than any other KCA seen before. How you might ask? Well, to start, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 will feature 1,000 slimings. (Yes, you read that right – 1,000!) And, not just one… but two, awesome hosts! The countdown is on to the most exciting event of the year and Nickelodeon had some special help kicking off the fun and announcing this year’s nominees and hosts for the awards show.
None other than singer and social media sensation, Dixie D’Amelio helped celebrate the start of Kids’ Choice Awards season by performing some surprise challenges and revealing the excellent nominees at the event. Of course, a Kids’ Choice Awards event isn’t complete without some slime, and D’Amelio got graced with some green goo during the terrific announcement. Let’s just say, green looks great on her!

The Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 will have double the fun with iCarly star and Nickelodeon veteran, Miranda Cosgrove and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski hosting the event. There couldn’t be two of the more perfect hosts to bring top-notch energy and a whole lot of fun to the most epic awards show on this planet.
Cosgrove shared her excitement over hosting the slime-tastic event and said, “The Kids’ Choice Awards is such a unique show with tons of energy, superstars and of course, lots of slime. Nickelodeon has always been my family and to co-host this iconic show alongside Gronk will be a blast!”
Football legend Gronk said, “I’ve always been a kid at heart so co-hosting the slimiest award show of the year will be an extraordinary time for me. I’m looking forward to bringing the fun that I have on and off the field to kids at home!”
Nickelodeon shared a fantastic video of our Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 hosts and needless to say, we. are. hyped.
Double the #KCA hosts means double the slimings, right? 😉
