Brought a buddy in, what you studying? Slime-cation, that’s where the money is! The most slimetastic day of the year is almost here and as if Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 wasn’t going to be epic enough with a total of 1,000 terrific slimings taking place, the network also recently announced two special guests who will be performing at the magnificent awards show. We’re getting a first class ticket on a pursuit of happiness as Grammy award-winning musician, Kid Cudi and multiple Grammy-nominated rapper, Jack Harlow will both be taking the stage at this year’s KCAs.
Fans are in for some music magic at the Kids’ Choice Awards with internationally-acclaimed artist Kid Cudi performing a medley of his new single, “Stars in the Sky” and his chart-topping track, “Pursuit of Happiness.” Music sensation Jack Harlow will have fans jamming out and singing along to his brilliant performance at the event. Harlow is nominated for “Favorite Breakout Artist” at this year’s awards show.
Kid Cudi shared his great enthusiasm over performing at one of the most anticipated events of the year. He also offered some words of encouragement to all of his fans and said, “I can’t believe my late 30-something butt gets to party at the Kids’ Choice Awards! I grew up loving Nickelodeon and it’s been a dream of mine to get slimed. Can’t wait to perform my new single from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, “Stars in the Sky,” along with a special tune dedicated to all the dreamers out there who might be struggling in life. This one’s for you!”
If you’re wondering whether these fan-favorite, music superstars would want to rock some green goo, well, Jack Harlow admitted he sure does! Harlow said, “I grew up on Nickelodeon so to be nominated AND perform at the Kids’ Choice Awards is crazy. Here’s to hoping I get slimed!”
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 will be hosted by dynamic duo, Miranda Cosgrove and Rob Gronkowski. The phenomenal awards show will be filled with excitement and tons of exceptional surprises for kids (and people of all ages) to enjoy including a special journey of Nick’s signature blimp into the metaverse with celebrity avatars, live voting where fans stay in control, and the ability for viewers to stream the show live across all platforms (source: press release). This year’s event will be unlike anything we have ever seen in KCA history with some of the most innovative ways for slimings to go down.
