This year’s Oscars is something that everyone is continuing to talk about, but the Academy Awards buzz didn’t just start at the awards show itself, it began at eBay and GBK Brand Bar’s Pre-Oscar Luxury Lounge, which took place on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Beverly Hills, California. GBK is the renowned team behind the most exclusive and luxurious gifting lounges for Hollywood’s top prestigious events. With the pandemic, in-person events came to an immediate halt. But, nothing can stop GBK from bringing pure gifting excitement. In fact, GBK even pivoted to opening a permanent, physical location at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood to help brands continue to gain exposure even while gifting lounges weren’t currently taking place.

Needless to say, this year’s luxury lounge was an extra special one indeed as it marked GBK’s return to in-person events, and without any surprise, GBK did not disappoint. This year’s event also invited nominees from the SAG, Golden Globe, and GRAMMY Awards as it is GBK’s first event of the year. At the luxury lounge, eBay joined in on the fun as the title sponsor of the Pre-Oscars lounge. Aside from gifting attendees great goodies from esteemed brands including Oris, Montblanc, Tag Heuer timepieces, Balenciaga backpacks, Saint Laurent clutches, and Bottega Veneta handbags, eBay also took this opportunity to use their platform for good and help with the tragedies happening in Ukraine. eBay hosted a private retail activation at the event and personalized closet clean out program in support of the American Red Cross to benefit Ukraine.

Take a step inside the eBay and GBK Brand Bar Pre-Oscar Luxury Lounge and it’s, without a doubt, the quintessential, high-class, and glamorous Hollywood event to celebrate the most dazzling, awards show weekend. The lounge was hosted at the Beverly Wilshire rose garden. Walking around and stopping by each of the brands was made even more unforgettable with the breathtaking rooftop view overlooking Beverly Hills.

A countless amount of celebrities gathered to ring in Oscars weekend in a marvelous way. Viola Davis, Anthony Anderson, Liam Payne, Bruce Dern, Ashley Greene, Jordin Sparks, Angela Bassett, Jason Ritter, Nyle DiMarco, Bia, Nika King, Alana Haim, Oscar-nominated Joico hairstylist, Frederic Aspiras, Wilmer Valderrama, Eric Roberts, Vanessa Simmons, Xolo Maridueña, and many more had a truly spectacular time at the event.
