The beloved Cosmo and Wanda have returned to our screens and are prepared for a whole new slew of terrific adventures with their two, new godchildren, Viv and Roy. Nickelodeon‘s The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder brings together live-action and animation in the most magical way as it follows Viv Turner, who begins a new chapter in Dimmsdale when her father, Ty uproots to reunite with his high school sweetheart, Rachel Raskin. Adjusting to a new place can be hard, but luckily, Viv’s cousin Timmy bestows his trusted fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, to help her get used to her new life. When Viv’s stepbrother, Roy sees the fairy godparents transfer take place, he also inherits the fairy duo, and the siblings must learn to navigate what it’s like to have fairy godparents just a poof away.
The Fairly Oddparents is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic, animated series in TV history. For the generation that grew up watching the original series, we’ve all been able to resonate with Timmy Turner in some way. Whether it’s wanting to wish the most extravagant things in life to come true or dealing with an icky Vicky of a babysitter, Timmy Turner is a big part of our growing years. And now, with The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder, a new generation is able to enjoy and relish in the fairy fun and be completely enthralled with this series the same way we all were while watching the animated show.
This magnificent series stars Audrey Grace Marshall as Vivian “Viv” Turner; Tyler Wladis as Roy Raskin; Laura Bell Bundy as Roy’s mom, Rachel Raskin; Ryan-James Hatanaka as Viv’s dad, Ty Turner; and Imogen Cohen as their friend, Zina Zacarias.
