Today, May 6th marks an incredibly special day as the Dreamscape location at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, California has officially reopened after a year of being closed due to the pandemic. It’s the day Dreamscape fans and VR enthusiasts have truly been waiting for. The much-anticipated reopening is bringing great delight and an undeniable, exhilarating feeling to visitors who have been having MAJOR Dreamscape withdrawals over the past year.
Dreamscape features four, remarkable adventures that transports you to a whole different reality and serves as a brilliant escape like no other. Each of Dreamscape’s wonderful adventures brings guests on an awe-inspiring journey involving all of your senses to fully absorb the moment. From actually being able to reach out and touch Dreamscape’s wildlife creatures, the Trunk Horses, in “Alien Zoo” or feeling water lightly sprayed at you when submerging yourself in the vast ocean in “The Blu: Deep Rescue,” Dreamscape’s adventures are cinematic masterpieces and will leave you completely mesmerized every millisecond. Needless to say, you will never want the experience to end!
Let’s take a look at the four adventures you can join in on at Dreamscape:
Alien Zoo:
The Intergalactic Wildlife Federation welcomes guests to explore the Alien Zoo. Filled with unique creatures signature to Dreamscape, you’ll be able to roam about a dream-like, wildlife refuge in space. The Alien Zoo is home to endangered species including the trunk horses, skyrays and the absolutely precious (mascots of Dreamscape) the frogcats and helps save these creatures from extinction. Aside from being able to step inside a wondrous world, Alien Zoo even shares an important message with guests about our impact on the world and the environment around us.
The Blu: Deep Rescue:
Two words to describe this adventure: breathtakingly beautiful! It’s time to put on your diving suit and take a splash deep down in the great depths of the ocean in The Blu: Deep Rescue. In this incredible experience, your mission is to reunite a mother whale with her family. Not only do you get to completely feel like you are in the midst of the ocean with precious seals and schools of fish everywhere you turn, but this adventure is also so heart-warming and touching as you embark on an important rescue mission.
Curse of the Lost Pearl:
Raise your hand if you’ve ever pretended to be the lead star of an action-adventure film! (Totally guilty of this! 🙋♀️) In Dreamscape’s Curse of the Lost Pearl, it’s time to grab your torch and explore an ancient (and deadly) temple to find the lost pearl. But, don’t be tricked, this adventure is not for the faint-hearted as there are traps at every corner. Curse of the Lost Pearl features a non-stop amount of fun and is certainly a fan-favorite. As you step through the magic projector, you now truly become the star of this adrenaline-filled story!
DreamWorks Dragons Flight Academy:
Put on your viking armor and get ready to take flight in Dreamscape’s captivating collaboration with DreamWorks – the Dragons Flight Academy. Here, you’ll be able to soar high to the Hidden World and help Hiccup and Astrid rescue the village from invaders. Embrace your inner viking and see if you have what it takes to earn your dragon wings in this unforgettable adventure.
Alexisjoyvipaccess had a stupendous time attending Dreamscape’s VIP night in celebration of its grand reopening. Dreamscape truly is my happy place. As soon as you step inside the Westfield Century City location, a great amount of merriment surrounds you. You enter into another world and leave all of your worries at the door. Dreamscape is, hands down, an unrivaled VR experience that surpasses all expectations. It brings creativity to another level and is the most innovative virtual reality out.
Dreamscape truly is where dreams are made and where dreams come true. The team and staff at Dreamscape are all so gracious and make the experience all the more memorable. Dreamscape is an extraordinary amount of fun and excitement for everyone – kids (ages 10 and up), teenagers, adults and even 90-year-old great-grandmothers like mine who had the time of her life at Dreamscape during the VIP event!
And, Dreamscape is taking extra precautionary measures to ensure your adventures are not only a blast, but are also super safe as well, following all COVID-19 protocols.
